Wylder Goes East

Nate, Wylder, Mr. Pib and I decided to drive across the country for Christmas back in Syracuse.

Our route:
San Diego to Las Vegas, NV to Keystone, CO to Des Moines, IA to Ann Arbor, MI to London, Ontario to Syracuse, NY

Here are some of the highlights...

From Sunny Colorado on the state line to the freezing mountain slopes, this place is true beauty.
In Keystone, CO we took the gondola up to 11,000 + feet and when we returned to the car we found out it was a whooping -6 degrees. I guess it was no wonder my toes were cold.

El Bait Shop, a wonderful little pub in des moines right along a bike path.
Who knew des moines was so hip? Biking, kimchi tater tots and beer,
I'll visit again.

We found another sister Co-Op. When we travel
we look for Co-Op's and good beer.
Blues Brothers anyone??

The crowning glory!
~CANADA~
Man, I love this country and the people.

A European type market in London, Ontario. Filled with colorful food and gifts.
We also stumbled upon a wonderful tea shop where were were able to sip a pot of tea
and watch the busy people below.

London was filled with many innovative restaurants. The menus were filled with plant based dishes
involving no soy and they even made charcuterie boards. The city had delicious craft beer
and even a Co-Op brewery called London Brewing Co-Op. This town is on the up and up.

****Stay tuned for posts on our time in Syracuse and our trip back...
