Nate and I traveled to Austin to see my dear friend Leanna and her wonderful husband Jed.
The Cathedral of Junk is a place you would only find here in Austin and is
real proof the city is upholding the "Keep Austin Weird" slogan.

All over the city there are beautiful murals painted onto the sides of buildings
adding tons of character to the city.

| I love the use of outdoor seating at bars, markets and restaurants. Who wants to be inside when you can enjoy a local brew outside in the warm weather? Well maybe when its over 100 degrees in the summer... |
The number of swimming holes in and around Austin truly makes this a special place.
We traveled to a privately owned campground with a swimming hole, river and hiking trails
within an hour from Austin. The surrounding nature has a very positive affect on the city and the people who reside there.
