Lately, we have been keeping busy with brewing batches of beer.
Here are some photos of us in action.

Our Beer cubby hole :)
Keeps it at a nice constant temperature.

Catching up with my beautiful friend, Lauren, in sunny Carlsbad.
We have been enjoying sunrises, sunsets, delicious beverages and making awesome fresh dinners.

A~U~S~T~I~N

What an amazing town. I love this place!

Nate and I traveled to Austin to see my dear friend Leanna and her wonderful husband Jed.

The Cathedral of Junk is a place you would only find here in Austin and is
real proof the city is upholding the "Keep Austin Weird" slogan.

Here Nate and I are standing in front of what looks like a pile of junk but is really an amazing 3 story play house.

Nate, Tom and Jed with the Master Creator and the newest junk addition they helped to place onto
THE CATHEDRAL.

All over the city there are beautiful murals painted onto the sides of buildings
adding tons of character to the city.

I love the use of outdoor seating at bars, markets
and restaurants.  Who wants to be
inside when you can enjoy a local brew
outside in the warm weather?  Well maybe when
its over 100 degrees in the summer...

The number of swimming holes in and around Austin truly makes this a special place.
We traveled to a privately owned campground with a swimming hole, river and hiking trails
within an hour from Austin.  The surrounding nature has a very positive affect on the city and the people who reside there.
Visit Austin!

Houston, TX

What on Earth are we doing in Texas????

~Tour de Houston~
45 mile bike ride around Houston Texas.
An amazing way to experience Houston.

It's time to make some Home brew.  Below we are making a
double IPA that will be about 9% when finished.

Here we are kegging a Belgian White Ale and of course enjoying a brew.

 Drinking from the homemade keggerator.
Enjoying ourselves at the local farmers market.

Gearing up to plant a veggie garden.
The weather was amazing and so we decide to
 go on a picnic.
 Slacklining at the Park

Even Declan wants to try it out.

We had a wonderful time exploring a new city and spending time with family.
Now we are off to experience Austin, TX...
