Maine. Fresh water lakes up to the ocean, forests all around, organic dominated farmers markets, friendly people.
I love Maine!

My Birthday Weekend

My first birthday as a mother. What a magnificent day.  It started with a yoga session, followed by an amazing plant based lunch to a relaxing afternoon on the beach. We then played a round of mini golf and then had a pint of beer with some friends.  I couldn't of asked for a better day with Wylder and Papa Nate.

I even got a hole in one!

We spent one beautiful starry night camping in Idyllwild.

Then we headed up to big bear where Wylder got to go on her first zipline. jump on a trampoline and ride a quad.

We are a blessed family.

It's hard to believe it has been 8 months...

Nate and I had the most amazing opportunity to do field work with our daughter. The 3 of us were
out in nature everyday studying conifers.  It was a beautiful thing.
Below are some photos of Wylder over the last couple months.
She has not only gone from crawling but now does so at lightning speed, she has 8 teeth,
can stand up and balance without holding on to anything, waves, claps and is taking baby
sign language classes.

Food has been a fun next step. She has eaten a variety of delicious organic fruits and veggies;
her favorites currently are sweet potato and blueberries (not together).

She loves playing at the park and watching Mr. Pib play fetch.

Wylder loves to hang with grandma

My first Mother's Day. We started the day with a wonderful hike in mother nature, followed by an epic nap
and waking up to a glorious 3 course meal, prepared by Nate.

And yesterday we went to Mexico for our first time as a family. She has now been to 3 countries.
