Italy with Mama Jonda and Nate

~Surrounded by beautiful grapes~

Organic farm and Winery. They treated us wonderfully, serving us a vegetarian, organic meal, paired with biodynamic wine.
Bulk wine, what more could you want?

MONSTERBALL-beach frisbee tournament

My favorite beer store

A whole cellar of Sour and Gueuze Beers.
I have some work cut out to taste them all!
And so many other good beers too!
Now that's a good looking bike basket. A whole case of delicious beers!

Fun beers, bikes on chairs, pin ball

Beer in a coconut made out of quinoa!
Belgium beer in an interesting glass

2 chairs on each bike. You have to carry furniture somehow
in a city where you only have bikes as transport.
I love it!

There is always time for a good game of pinball

Fringe Festival

We have been volunteering to help set up the Fringe Festival.
Performances that don't make the big time, and well, are on the "Fringe".
To thank us for volunteering we were given passes to see any show we want for free.
We have seen some really rad acts so far.
Check it out....

Nate biked and I rode around amsterdam delivering fliers and other materials
to the venues. SO much FUN to ride in bike carts!

We had to preform a little hard labor :)

Pluk de Nacht

A free outdoor movie festival
They played feature films that have not, until now, been brought over to Holland.
You could rent beach chairs, sit on a picnic bench or in bleachers. They
served pizza, crepes, beer and wine. The movie was projected onto a screen
hung on old shipping crates.

Nate and Tom enjoying out picnic dinner we brought along to the movie.

Parade ~ traveling theater festival

You pay to use the toilet and all the money raised is used for clean water
projects in some of the poorest parts of the world.
 Nate's favorite fountain bar
Quite the clean-up crew.
The little girl would hold the stack of cups while her brother collected more
cups to add to the stack.
Now thats talent!
